About the Hunger Action Center

The Hunger Action Center provides a great hands-on experience in a diverse and social atmosphere. Groups and individual volunteers come together to inspect, sort, and pack quality grocery donations to prepare for distribution to nearly 700 partner agencies across Georgia.   

Volunteer Tasks

Volunteer tasks include sorting food, packing food boxes, restocking our shelves, and more! Specific tasks might vary, but we guarantee a fun, meaningful day of service.  Each volunteer MUST work the entire shift to ensure we get food out to the community in a timely manner.
